RuneScape: Dragonwilds Price: Standard vs Deluxe Edition
What the standard edition, the Deluxe Edition and the Deluxe upgrade cost, what the Deluxe extras actually are, and why the price will not rise after 1.0.
The pricing is simple. Standard edition: $29.99 (Jagex also quotes 24.99 GBP). Deluxe Edition: $39.99.
If you already own the standard edition, you can buy the $9.99 Deluxe upgrade on its own.
On 2 September 2026 Jagex published a post confirming the price will not rise after 1.0.

What the Deluxe Edition adds
- Gilded Armor and Gilded Cape. A cosmetic set.
- Six low-poly OSRS-inspired helms. Nostalgic decorative helmets.
- Four dragon head wall mounts. Base decoration.
- Ten paintings. Base decoration.
- Two animated animal decorations. Muncher and Chinchompa.
Going by Jagex’s own list, the Deluxe Edition is entirely cosmetic. No progression, no stats, no gameplay advantage.
So the only question is whether you want the decorations.
Will the price go up
No. Jagex states the price stays at £24.99 / $29.99, and thanks Early Access players for it.
That is also a reason to buy outright rather than wait. The game does not play the usual “cheap in Early Access, expensive at 1.0” trick.
Be careful with one thing though: Jagex has not promised the game will never go on sale, and has not announced a discount plan. Waiting for a sale is possible, but it is not a strategy with evidence behind it.

Three things to check before buying
- Regional price. This page only quotes Jagex’s USD and GBP figures. Other currencies come from your local store.
- Edition naming. Some stores label it “Deluxe Edition” and the add-on “Deluxe Edition Upgrade”.
- Whether you own the base game. The upgrade pack only makes sense if you already own it.
